The City of Titusville Water, under the City Department of Water Resources, provides water for about 51,643 residents living in the area of Titusville, Florida. Established in 1887, the City of Titusville Water Resources Department is currently obtaining its supply primarily from groundwater pumped from the Surficial and Floridan Aquifers. The City supplements its water supply by purchasing water from the City of Cocoa, which uses groundwater from the Floridan and Intermediate Aquifers, surface water from the Taylor Creek Reservoir, and aquifer storage and recovery wells.
