Albion Water Department is a public community water system under the Water and Sewer Department of Public Utilities that provides water to about 9,144 residents living in Albion, a city in Calhoun County, in the Lower Peninsula's central southern section, in Michigan. Founded in 1835, the Albion Water Department System gets its supply from groundwater sources, mostly from five wells that are dug into the area's subsurface aquifer. All these wells are over 250 feet deep. In addition, two of the wells are used as the main sources, with the other three acting as backups.
