The Township of Macomb Water System, under the Township Department of Water and Sewer, provides water for about 90,000 residents living in the area of Macomb, Michigan. Established in 1834, the Township of Macomb Water System currently obtains its supply via purchase from the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA). GLWA draws water from Lake Huron and the Great Lakes tributary, the Detroit River.
