The City of Milan Water serves approximately 7,363 residents in the Milan area of Washtenaw County, Michigan. Milan Utilities' Water Department receives water from four groundwater wells located throughout the city. The raw water is pumped to the Water Treatment Plant, where it is aerated, filtered, and disinfected to produce potable water. The treated water is pumped to the City's distribution system, which includes roughly 30 miles of water mains and two elevated storage tanks on the northwest and east sides of US 23.
