Saline Water Department is a public community water system under the local government that provides water to about 9,158 residents living in Saline, Washtenaw County, Michigan. Founded in 1866, the Saline Water Department System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily five wells that draw water from glacial deposits. All these wells are 120 feet deep and on average have distributed 1,118,000 gallons per day.
