The City of Morris Water supplies water to about 5,351 residents living in the Morris area of Stevens County, Minnesota. Water sources include rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, reservoirs, springs, and wells. Morris Water Department collects water from six groundwater wells - wells #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, & #9 ranging from 58 to 82 feet deep. The wells pump water from the Quaternary Water Table aquifer to the lime-softening water treatment plant for processing.
