The Bemidji Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 16,318 residents living in Bemidji, a city and the county seat of Beltrami County, in northern Minnesota. Established in 1897, the Bemidji Water System currently obtains its supply from a groundwater source, five wells ranging from 196-198 feet deep, and the Quaternary Buried Artesian and Quaternary Water Table aquifers.
