The City of Fridley Water and Sewer, under the City Public Works Department, provides water for about 27,853 residents living in the Fridley area, Minnesota. Established in 1847, the City of Fridley collects supply a groundwater source, 13 wells that draw water from the Prairie Du Chien-Jordan, Prairie Du Chien Group, Mt. Simon, Tunnel City-Mt. Simon, Quaternary Buried Artesian and Jordan aquifers. The City of Fridley also obtains treated water from the City of New Brighton.
