The City of Savage Utility Services Division, under the City Water and Sewer Department, provides water for about 30,285 residents living in the Savage area, Minnesota. Established in 1852, the City of Savage City Public Works currently obtains its supply via purchase from Burnsville, which draws groundwater from eight wells in the Prairie Du Chien Group, Mt. Simon, Quaternary Buried Artesian and Tunnel City-Wonewoc aquifers.

Consumer Confidence Water Quality Reports

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about City Of Savage Water? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, City Of Savage Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
