The City of Zimmerman Water supplies water to about 5,334 residents living in the Zimmerman area of Sherburne County, Minnesota. Zimmerman Water Department collects water from two wells (351 to 400 feet deep) pumping from Mt. Simon and Mt. Simon-Fond Du Lac aquifers. The water is chlorinated for disinfection and fluoridated for healthy teeth. Its hardness is 9.7 gr/gal for the 4th Avenue and 8.2 grains/gallon for the 6th Avenue Water Plant.
