The Campbell County Utilities and Service Authority-Central System is a public community water system established by the resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Campbell County, Virginia (the "County") and was chartered by the Commonwealth of Virginia State Corporation Commission. It supplies water to about 21,761 residents living in Evington, an unincorporated community in Campbell County, Virginia. Founded in 1964, Campbell County Utilities and Service Authority-Central System obtains its surface water supply from the City of Lynchburg from two water sources: the 138-acre Pedlar Reservoir in Amherst County and the James River.
