Berlin Water Control Commission supplies water to about 5,128 residents in the Berlin, Newington, and Middletown areas of Hartford County, Connecticut. Berlin Water Control Commission collects over 60% of its water from the Elton Road wellfield comprising Elton Well #1B and Elton Well #2A, and water from both wells is blended before it enters the distribution system. The remaining water is purchased from the New Britain Water Department and the Cromwell Fire District through an Interconnection. Berlin's water has a hardness range of 100 to 122 mg/L.
