Lake Mary has multiple water providers: Seminole County Water and City of Lake Mary Water. This page provides information about City of Lake Mary Water.

The City of Lake Mary Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 17,633 living in Lake Mary, a suburban city that is located in the Greater Orlando metropolitan area in Seminole County, Florida. Established in 1973, the City of Lake Mary Water System currently obtains its supply from six groundwater wells that draw water from the upper Floridan Aquifer. All groundwater wells supply water to our single Water Treatment Plant (WTP), which was named in honor of former Commissioner Harry Terry who actively encouraged our City to build its own facility. The City has four water main interconnections with Seminole County and one with the City of Sanford which are available for use during fire emergencies and system repairs.
