The Englewood Water District, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 38,305 residents living in the area of Springfield, Florida. Established in 1959, the Englewood Water District is currently obtaining its supply from groundwater sources, the Floridan and Upper Hawthorne Aquifers, as well as Surficial Aquifers.
