Founded in 1964, the New Baltimore Water System of the Fauquier Water collects water from 13 fractured bedrock wells ranging from 200 to 500 feet deep, including Buckland Oaks Well, Cedar Run Well, High Rock, Howell Manor, Mill Run, Mosby Woods R, MacRidge, Rock Springs, and Terranova. To produce potable water, the water is treated with hypochlorite solution and phosphate chemicals.
