City of Jordan Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 6,148 residents living in Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota. Founded in 1872, the City of Jordan Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily three wells that drill into the Mt. Simon Aquifer, Tunnel City Wonewoc Aquifer, and Wonewoc-Eau Claire Aquifer underneath the area, with depths ranging from 287 to 550 feet.
