Kingston has multiple water providers: Watts Bar Utility District and Kingston Water Department. This page provides information about Kingston Water Department.

The Kingston Water Department, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 9,953 residents living in Kingston, a city in and the county seat of Roane County, Tennessee. Founded in 1799, the Kingston Water Department System currently obtains its supply from mixed sources: surface water drawn from the Tennessee River; and groundwater sources, primarily wells that drill into the Swan Pond Spring (Cambrian-Ordovician-Carbonate Aquifer) underneath the area.
