The City of Madison Water supplies water to about 7,350 City residents and the surrounding unincorporated areas in Madison County, Florida. The Madison Water Department collects water from three groundwater wells that pump from the Floridan Aquifer. The water is treated with chlorine for disinfection, fluoride for dental health, and a sequestering agent for corrosion control.
