The Milcrofton Utility District, a public community water system, provides water for about 23,078 residents living in the area of Williamson County, Tennessee. Established in 1972, the Milcrofton Utility District is currently obtaining its supply via the purchase of surface water from Harpeth Valley Utilities District (HVUD), which uses the Cumberland River commonly known as Cheatham Lake.
