The Muskegon County Regional Water System - Northside supplies water to about 5,133 residents in the Muskegon Charter, Dalton, Fruitland, and Laketon areas in Michigan. Muskegon County Regional Water System's water is pumped from Lake Michigan into the City of Muskegon Water Filtration Plant, which treats up to 40 million gallons of water per day. The water is fluoridated and disinfected with chlorine to improve its quality.
