Village of New Haven Water, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 5,600 residents in New Haven, Macomb County, Michigan. Founded in 1869, the Village of New Haven Water collects water from the Great Lakes Water Authority-Lake Huron Treatment Facility, a surface water source that draws water from the Lower Lake Huron Watershed. Furthermore, the system has two wells maintained for backup.
