The City of North Mankato Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works – Water Division, provides water for about 13,462 residents living in the area of North Mankato, Minnesota. Established in 1868, the City of North Mankato Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a groundwater source, five wells drawing from the Mt. Simon Aquifer.
