The South Davis Water District provides water for about 9,891 residents living in the Bountiful area. Established in 1954, approximately 60% of Bountiful City drinking water is supplied from eight wells located throughout the City: BWSD Well, Calder Wells #1 & #2, First East Well, Upper and Lower Mueller Park Wells, Viewmont Well and Shop Well. The rest of the supply is collected from surface water sources: Mill Creek (20%) and Weber River (20%) via the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District Treatment Plant on Davis Boulevard.
