The City of Elberton Utilities provides water service to about 7,800 residents living in the Elberton area, the county seat of Elbert County, Georgia. The Water Division of Elberton Utilities obtains water from Lake Russell through the Lake Russell Pumping Station on Middleton Church Road and treats it at the City's Water Treatment Plant.
