The City of Pooler Water Department provides water for about 21,187 residents living in the Pooler area, Georgia. Established in 1907, the City of Pooler collects water from a combination of groundwater and surface water sources. Groundwater comes from wells that draw groundwater from the Floridan Aquifer, while the additional water comes from the City of Savannah’s surface water treatment plant, which draws from the Savannah River.
