The City of Roswell Water Department provides water for about 14,300 people living in the Roswell area, Fulton County, Georgia. The City of Rosewell Water Department operates a "blended water source" because it has two water sources. The primary source is from the Roswell Water Treatment Plant capable of producing 3.3 million gallons of water per day. The water for this plant is withdrawn from the Big Creek Watershed. Additional water is purchased from the North Fulton/Atlanta Treatment Plant in Alpharetta. The Chattahoochee River is the source of this plant.
