The Vidalia Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works – Water/Sewer, provides water for about 13,050 residents living in the area of Vidalia, Georgia. Established in 1890, the Vidalia Water Department System is currently obtaining its supply from a groundwater source: municipal water wells located throughout the City, drawing from the Upper Floridian Aquifer.
