Towns County Water & Sewerage Authority is a public water supply and sewage services corporation under a board of directors appointed by the Towns County Supreme Court grand jury that provides water to about 11,556 residents living in Young Harris, Towns County, Georgia. Founded in 1972, Towns County Water & Sewerage Authority System currently purchases its supply from the City of Hiawassee, which treats raw water from Lake Chatuge. The water system has 1.9 million gallons of combined storage capacity in all 11 tanks.
