The City of Logan Water, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 6,704 residents living in Logan, Hocking County, Ohio. Founded in 1979, the City of Logan Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily wells that drill into the sand and gravel aquifer that runs along the Hocking River. Furthermore, there are two well fields along State Route 93 that draw water from this aquifer: East Well Field has three wells, while West Well Field has four wells. Additionally, to ensure an uninterrupted water supply, the city has a water treatment plant.
