The City Of Reading Water supplies water to about 9,506 residents living in the Reading area of Hamilton County. The City Of Reading Water purchases treated water from Greater Cincinnati Water Works which supplies water from 2 sources: the Miller Treatment Plant and the Bolton Treatment Plant. The Miller Treatment Plant treats surface water from the Ohio River, while the Bolton Treatment Plant treats groundwater from ten wells that draw from the Great Miami Aquifer.
