The Streetsboro Water, a public community water system under the City Service Department - Division of Water, provides water for about 14,274 residents living in the area of Streetsboro, a city in Portage County, Ohio. Established in 1968, the Streetsboro Water Supply District’s public drinking water has been around since 1971 and is currently obtaining its supply via purchases from the Portage County Water Resources (PCWR) in Ravenna, Ohio. PCWR’s water is groundwater derived from nine wells that pump from the Pottsville Formation.
