The City of Tega Cay Utilities supplies water to about 10,500 residents living in the Tega Cay area of York County, South Carolina. The City of Tega Cay Utilities purchases water from Fort Mill, which in turn buys it from the City of Rock Hill, which obtains raw water from Lake Wylie. The water is pumped to the Treatment Plant and treated to remove harmful contaminants.
