The Chesterfield County Rural Water Company Incorporated (CCRWC) provides water for about 19,932 residents living in the Chesterfield area, South Carolina. Established in 1968, the Chesterfield County Rural Water Company Incorporated purchases its supply from the Alligator Water & Sewer (85%), the Town of Cheraw (10%), and Anson County Water (5%). Alligator's water comes from wells on Union Church Road, Sowell Road, US Hwy 1, Hwy 151, Old Creek Road, and Cedar Avenue. Anson County's water comes from Blewett Falls Lake, and the Town of Cheraw's water source is the Pee Dee River.
