The City of Belton Water, a public community water system under the Water and Street Department, provides water to about 6,584 residents living in Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina. Founded in 1855, the City of Belton Water System currently purchases its supply from the Belton-Honea Path Water Authority, a surface water source that draws treated water from the Saluda River.
