The City of Blakely Water operates two elevated tanks and receives water from three groundwater wells (Well 3, 4 & 5) pumping from Claiborne, Clayton, and Cretaceous aquifers, which are branches of the Floridan aquifer. Well 3 is on Howell St., Well 4 is located off Highway 39 after Manry-Jordon-Hodges funeral home, and Well 5 is on Highway 62-bypass beside the vault company, and they have a capacity of 500,000 to 1 million gallons per day. The City's water is fluoridated and chlorinated to improve the quality before it is distributed.
