The City of DeRidder Water System, a public community water system under the City Utilities Department - Water Office, provides water for about 14,400 residents living in the area of DeRidder, a small city in, and the parish seat of, Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. Established in 1903, the City of DeRidder Water System currently obtains its supply from Ampacet, Main Plant, Mays St., and Bilbo St. wells that are drilled into the Chicot, Evangeline, and Jasper aquifer systems.
