The City of Fairborn Public Water System, under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 32,350 residents living in the area of Fairborn, Ohio. Established in 1950, the City of Fairborn Public Water System currently obtains its supply from a groundwater source, two well fields that draw water from the Mad River Buried Valley Aquifer.
