City of Locust Grove Water, a public community water system under the City Utilities Department, provides water to about 5,648 residents living in Locust Grove, Henry County, Georgia. Founded in 1893, the City of Locust Grove Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources: a spring with a 350-gallon per minute capacity located on Davis Lake Road and three wells: two wells on Warren Holder Park with a 250-gallon per minute capacity and the Strong Rock Parkway Well. Additionally, a backup source is drawn from the Henry County Water Authority. The system also has three water tanks: a 500,000-gallon tank on Price Drive, a 250,000-gallon tank on Highway 42, and a 750,000-gallon tank on LG/Griffin Road.
