Madison County Sanitary Sewer & Water District No. 1 supplies water to about 5,176 in London City, Ohio. Madison County Sanitary Water District 1 collects water from five wells drilled in an underground aquifer called the Teays River. The wells are at the water plant site, west of State Route 56, and water is pumped to the Water District #1 Treatment Facility, which treats and improves water quality.
