Northern Ohio Rural Water-South District, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 5,226 residents living in Norwalk Township, Huron County, Ohio. Founded in 1988, the Northern Ohio Rural Water-South District System currently purchases its supply from the City of Elyria and draws water from Lake Erie, the Huron River, Beaver Creek, and Martin's Run.
