The Toledo Department of Utilities provides water for more than 500,000 people living in Toledo, Ohio and Lucas County, portions of Fulton and Wood Counties, and Monroe, Michigan. Founded over 140 years ago, the Toledo water department collects water from Lake Erie and processes it at the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant for distribution throughout the service area.
