Founded in 1992, the Reynold Water System of Piedmont Water Company obtains water from 22 groundwater wells, approximately 450 feet deep, that pump from an underground aquifer. The water is disinfected with chlorine to kill bacterial contaminants and treated to remove iron and manganese.
