The Sabine Parish WaterWorks District No. 1 supplies water to about 6,717 residents living in the Many community of Louisiana. Sabine Parish WaterWorks District #1 collects water from five groundwater wells, which include Jones Well #2, Jones Well #3, Plainview Well #4, Plainview Well #7, and Ajax Beulah Well #6. The water is treated with National Safety Foundation-approved chemicals and disinfected with chlorine to improve the quality before distribution.
