The Village Water System supplies water to about 10,644 residents living in the Princeton area in Bossier Parish County, Louisiana. The Village Water System is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1967 and located on Hwy 80 in Haughton to provide potable water to rural residents. The water supplied by the Water Department is groundwater pumped from 18 wells that feed from Upland Terrace Deposits and Wilcox Aquifers.
