Marietta has multiple water providers: Marietta Power and Water and Warren Community Water. This page provides information about Warren Community Water.

The Warren Community Water & Sewer Association No. 2 provides water services to about 7,215 residents living in the Marietta area in Washington County, Ohio. The Warren Community Water & Sewer Association was incorporated in 1969 through a combination of grants, loans, and funding from the United States Department of Agriculture and the Farmers Home Administration, and water services began in 1976. The Water Department obtains water from three wells that pump groundwater from a wellfield in the Oak Grove area located on the west side of the Muskingum River. The Association maintains emergency connections with the City of Marietta and the Little Hocking Water Association. The water is disinfected with chlorine to prevent the growth of bacteria.
