Warren County Water and Sewer-Franklin Area Water System is a private community water system. It supplies water to about 31,447 residents living in Lebanon, a city in and the county seat of Warren County, Ohio. Founded in 1803, Warren County Water and Sewer-Franklin Area Water System System currently obtains its supply from a variety of sources with two water treatment plants with a combined rated capacity of 24 million gallons per day. Water is pumped into the treatment plants from wells along the Great and Little Miami aquifers. Water is delivered to nearly 28,000 clients over 500 miles of water mains from four booster pump stations. It also purchases potable water from the City of Springboro and the City of Cincinnati. The County has emergency water system interconnections with neighboring cities and villages including Cincinnati, Franklin, Lebanon, Middletown, Springboro, South Lebanon, Waynesville, and the Western Water Company.
