The City of Archdale Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Utilities/Services, provides water for about 12,700 residents living in the area of Archdale, a city in Guilford and Randolph counties in the state of North Carolina. Established in 1969, the City of Archdale Water System currently obtains its treated surface water supply via purchase from the Piedmont Triad Regional Water Authority (PTRWA), which uses water from Randleman Regional Reservoir, a man-made reservoir at the confluence of Muddy Creek and the Deep River.
