Glen Alpine has multiple water providers: Brentwood Water and Brentwood Water. This page provides information about Brentwood Water.

The Brentwood Water Association provides water services to about 5,127 residents in the Glen Alpine area of Burke County. Brentwood Water Association purchases water from the City of Morganton, which obtains water from the Catawba River.  The water is treated by a Class A surface water treatment facility, the Catawba River WTP at 100 Coulter St. Morganton. Treatment processes involve coagulation with Poly-Aluminum Chloride, disinfection with Sodium Hypochlorite, corrosion control with Polyphosphate, and fluoridation with Hydrofluorosilic Acid to promote dental health.
