The City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department (CORPUD) supplies water for approximately 580,000 residents of Raleigh, North Carolina and several surrounding cities. To ensure that there's enough water to sustain the area's rapid growth, CORPUD sources water from Falls Lake, Lake Benson, and a series of rivers, reservoirs, springs, and wells.
