The Fair Oaks Ranch Utilities receives water from Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority's Western Canyon and 30 active groundwater wells pumping from the Trinity Aquifer. The groundwater is treated at its four Treatment Plants and blended with the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority's water to supply the customers.
